NAIAS Sting Operation

Kia has a tradition of pulling out all the stops for its auto show lineups, and this month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit will not be an exception. They’ve been teasing their new concept sports car since December, and today we learned for the first time details about what moves the car.

Dubbed the Kia GT4 Stinger, the orange missile will be propelled by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that generates 315 horsepower. The GT4 is rear-wheel driven, with front-brake cooling vents and 20-inch custom rims. The front grill cuts a wicked grin, sitting between vertical LED headlamps, and a carbon fiber splitter helps ensure the Stinger maintains a low profile.

We can’t wait to see the GT4 Stinger under the lights on the 13th. Suffice to say, it’s going to be a real bombshell.
