2014 Kia Optima Hybrid Gets a New Look

Lately, we’ve been giving the 2015 K900 plenty of coverage, but we don’t want to forget about the other fine sedans in Kia’s repertoire.

The Optima got a facelift last year, updating its front fascia to be more aggressive and more dynamic. The hybrid model retained the previous look, though, opting instead for a boost in its powertrain.

As of this week, we can tell you that the 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid has officially donned the new look. Revealed at the Chicago Auto Show, the front end has been reworked to meld the hybrid-specific headlights with Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille, and additional enhancements that make the car more aerodynamic. All this while keeping the same green performance powertrain, earning a combined fuel economy rating of 38 miles per gallon.

This is great news for fans of the Optima’s new style and a hybrid car’s efficiency. For more pictures and the official press release, you can visit autoblog.com.
